What's New?
This exciting study kicked off in early October of 2008 with Illinois
Department of Transportation and their consulting team. The Study Team
has collected initial survey, traffic, crash, pedestrian and bicycle
data. We have conducted 3 Project Study Group Meetings, 4 Community
Working Group Meetings and 2 open house Public Workshops.
Engineering and environmental documents are well under way. After
review by the appropriate agencies, we will schedule a public hearing
where the preferred alternative and study documents can be viewed and
commented on by the public. The Public Hearing Notice will be
published in the local newspapers, released to the local media, mailed
to public officials and property owners and e-mailed to individuals on
the project mailing list.Click here to download
