Illinois Department of Transportation Seasonal Job Opportunity

We are seeking individuals in select areas statewide for positions to perform snow and ice removal for Illinois’ highway network system during the winter months on an “as needed” or “on call” basis during emergency weather situations only.

Requirements:

• This position requires candidates to be available to work in emergency conditions any time including nights, holidays and weekends.
   

• This position requires a Commercial Drivers’ License with an N or X endorsement and with non-restricted air brakes.

Candidates are subjected to random drug/alcohol testing.

Salary: $20.55/hour
