Interstate 64 in East St. Louis to Close in Both Directions October 8 Weekend

The Illinois Department of Transportation today announced that both directions of I-64 will be closed from west of IL 111 to the I-64/55/70 split in East St. Louis beginning Friday, October 8, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. until Monday, October 11, 2010 at 5:00 a.m., weather permitting. This interstate closure is necessary to remove the bridge carrying 15th Street over I-64.
