SPRINGFIELD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation has selected consultants for 26 highway projects across the state. The consultants were selected by special committee on July 24.

The projects, and consultants, are:

  1. DISTRICT 1, construction inspection for various projects on a work order basis. Infrastructure Engineering, Inc., Chicago.
  2. WILL, construction inspection for the rehabilitation of the moveable bridge carrying US 6/52 (McDonough St.) over the Des Plaines River in Joliet. T.Y. Lin International Great Lakes, Inc., Chicago.
  3. WILL, plan preparation for the reconstruction of IL 59 from Caton Farm Rd. to IL 126. Knight Infrastructure, Inc., Chicago.
  4. WILL, plan preparation for the reconstruction of IL 59 from US 52 to Caton Farm Road. Transystems Corp., Schaumburg.
  5. DuPAGE, plan preparation for the widening/reconstruction of IL 56 (Butterfield Rd.) from IL 59 to east of Winfield Rd. Christian-Roge & Assoc., Inc., Chicago.
  6. DuPAGE, plan preparation for the widening/reconstruction of IL 56 (Butterfield Rd.) from east of Winfield Rd. to Naperville Rd. Alfred Benesch & Co., Chicago.
  7. COOK, plan preparation for replacement of the bridge superstructure on Joe Orr Rd. over IL 394. A. Epstein & Sons International, Inc., Chicago.
  8. COOK, plan preparation for structure and roadway improvements on 147th St. over Tinley Creek. Robert H. Anderson & Assoc., Chicago.
  9. DISTRICT 1, field surveys of various roadway projects on a work order basis. James Anderson Co., Lake Bluff.
