PEORIA, IL -- Beginning Tuesday, June 11 and continuing through Thursday,
June 13, the I-74 Murray Baker Bridge over the Illinois River at Peoria will be
reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge inspections.
Work will begin each day at 8:30 a.m. and will finish by 4:00 p.m. Motorists
are encouraged to use I-474 or the Bob Michel Bridge to avoid congestion.
The work is part of Upgrade 74, a three year complete rehabilitation of I-74
through Peoria and East Peoria.
