PEORIA, IL -- I-74 in Peoria will be reduced to one lane in each direction
beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, and continuing the rest of the
week.
The lane closures will be in effect from approximately University to Glendale
and will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
Motorists are encouraged use I-474 around Peoria to avoid congestion. For
those motorists who must use I-74, they are advised to slow down and drive with
caution through the work zone area.
