SPRINGFIELD, IL -- The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking consultants for 22 highway projects across the state. The firms will be selected by a special committee on March 5.

The projects are:

1. COOK, plans for the replacement of the Dixie Highway bridge over Butterfield Creek.

2. McHENRY, plans for the reconstruction of the intersection of IL 31 at IL 176.

3. COOK, plans for the replacement of the IL 43 structure over the I-94 spur.

4. DISTRICT 1, drainage studies and hydraulic reports for various locations on a work order basis.

5. DISTRICT 1, land surveys for various roadway projects on a work order basis.

6. DISTRICT 1, Phase I work for various bridges on a work order basis.

7. DISTRICT 2, construction inspection for various projects throughout the district on a work order basis.

8. DISTRICT 2, construction inspection for various projects throughout the district on a work order basis.

9. DISTRICT 2, construction inspection for various projects throughout the district on a work order basis.

10. ROCK ISLAND, construction inspection for the reconstruction of Airport Rd. from 3rd St. to east of I-280.

11. DISTRICT 3, Phase I/II work for various projects on a work order basis.

12. KENDALL, design report and plans for the rehabilitation of US 34 from IL 47 to Orchard Rd.

13. LIVINGSTON, design report and plans for the resurfacing of IL 47 from IL 116 to US 24, and replacement of the Vermilion River bridge.

14. McLEAN, FORD, KANKAKEE, LA SALLE, plans for the replacement of four structures. 1) I-74 over the North Fork of Salt Creek, 1 mile south of Leroy in McLean County; 2) IL 9 over the Vermilion River, 0.7 mile east of IL 115 in Ford County; 3) US 45/52 over Rock Creek, 1.5 miles south of Manteno Rd. in Kankakee County; 4) IL 71 over Salt Wells Stream, 4.3 miles east of IL 178 in LaSalle County

15. DISTRICT 3, surveys for various projects on a work order basis.

16. DISTRICT 4, Phase I/II work for various projects on a work order basis.

17. DISTRICT 5, Phase I/II work for various projects on a work order basis.

18. DISTRICT 6, surveys for various projects on a work order basis.

19. DISTRICT 7, Phase II work for various projects on a work order basis.

20. STATEWIDE, perform noise analyses studies statewide.

21. SOUTHERN ILLINOIS, aerial photography, topographic mapping, and digital othophoto negatives for various projects in southern Illinois.

22. STATEWIDE, structural steel shop fabrication inspections for the Bureau of Bridges and Structures.
