You are invited to attend a
Public Hearing held by the Illinois Department of Transportation concerning the
proposed reconstruction of the Illinois Route 60 at Interstate 94
Interchange. The Public Hearing (Open
House format), will take place on: Date: December
13, 2005 Time: 3:00
p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Place: 1905
Purpose of the Meeting: ·
To discuss the
purpose and need for the improvement. ·
To present the
proposed improvement plans. ·
To obtain
public input. The scope of work includes providing additional through and turn
lanes on Illinois Route 60 in the vicinity of Interstate 94. An audio-visual presentation will be shown every half-hour with the
last showing at 6:30 pm. Exhibits will be on display with Illinois
Department of Transportation personnel available to discuss the project and
to answer questions. The Environmental Class of Action Determination report, as well as
information addressing the Department’s land acquisition policies, will be
available for inspection at the Hearing and prior to the Hearing at the IDOT
District One Office. This Hearing will be accessible to handicapped individuals. Anyone needing special assistance should
