COLLINSVILLE, IL, November 24, 2010 -- The
Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will hold a public
informational meeting in the City of Waterloo, Illinois, on
Wednesday, December 1, 2010 to discuss the project along IL
Route 3 from South Market to North Market. The meeting will be
held:
December 1, 2010 4 – 7 pm
Waterloo High School
505 East Bulldog Boulevard
Waterloo, Illinois
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the
proposed concept alternatives for the southern, middle, and
northern sections of IL Route 3 in Waterloo, Monroe County and
to receive public input on the concepts. The project includes
widening, resurfacing, and intersection improvements for the
subject roadway.
Handouts and display boards will be available for public review,
as will information regarding engineering, land acquisition, and
environmental issues. Representatives from IDOT and their
consultant Horner & Shifrin, Inc. will be available to discuss
the project and answer questions. The meeting will be an open
house format; therefore, no formal presentation will be made.
Interested persons may comment for the record in writing; a
comment form will be provided. Comments may also be mailed or
