IDOT to Host Open House on IL 91 Widening and Resurfacing in Dunlap
Hearing Encourages Public Comment on Proposed Improvements
PEORIA – The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will
host a public hearing on Tuesday, June 14th to present the
proposed improvements to Illinois Route 91 from just south of
Legion Hall Road to just north of Rock Island Trail in Dunlap,
Illinois.
The public hearing is being held in an open house format, which
means interested residents can attend any time from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m.

Proposed improvements include:
• Widening and resurfacing of Illinois Route 91
• New sidewalk on both sides for the length of the project
• Left and right turn lanes at the intersection of Illinois
Route 91 and Legion Hall Road
• A center two-way left turn lane on Illinois Route 91 for the
length of the project
• On-road bicycle accommodations
• New curb, gutter, and storm sewers for length of project
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide information
about the proposed improvements and to receive comments.
Right-of-way will be required from several properties for the
proposed improvements. Exhibits, drawings, and aerial photos
will be available for review. In addition, IDOT staff members
will be available to answer questions.
The meeting is accessible to special needs individuals. Anyone
