The purpose of this open house informational meeting is to
provide the public with an opportunity to express concerns about
past flooding and any other issues within the study area and to
suggest possible alternatives that may be considered for the
proposed improvement. Exhibits, maps and aerial photography of
the proposed project area will be available for inspection and

study, review alternatives, and provide comments. The meeting is
an opportunity for citizens to offer feedback as the study team
moves ahead. All persons interested in this project are invited
to attend. IDOT will also be taking names of people interested
in serving on an advisory committee as the study proceeds after
this Public Information and prior to presenting the recommended
alternative at the future Public Hearing.

presentation is planned. Representatives of the Illinois
Department of Transportation and the consultant engineering
firm, Klingner and Associates, will be available anytime from
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to answer individual questions and to
