This 2010 Annual Report illustrates IDOT’s continual movement forward.
2010 represented the beginning of a new era for IDOT.
Beginning in 2009, IDOT has implemented the largest
transportation construction program in the state’s history
and with the construction already starting for the High
Speed Rail project for the Chicago to St. Louis corridor,
IDOT will continue to provide a world-class transportation
service for the Illinois citizens while rebuilding existing
transportation infrastructure and designing new ones to
carry the Illinois economy into the next decade and beyond.
