H.R. 4348, the "Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act" (MAP-21) was passed in the Congress on June 29, 2012 and signed into law by President Obama on July 6. The bill extends federal highway and transit funding through federal fiscal year 2014. This page will be used to provide information on MAP-21 and Illinois' implementation.
